Mayor Exuperio Lloren leads the local government unit of Jagna in the culmination of the Women’s Month recently. The said program would include a symposium related to women economic empowerment and an on the spot search for Mutya ng Kahugpungan sa mga Kababayen-an sa Jagna (KKJ-LCW) (photo inset). The title went to Ms. Nicanora Acasio of barangay Pagina.
  Jagna as one of the pilot Bohol municipalities of the GREAT Women project is getting gender-more-sensitive over the years with its comprehensive and holistic programs on gender and development (GAD); community mobilization and organization as well as LGU's all-out support to the various GAD-related programs that include budget allocations and ordinances, resolutions and policies that promote the welfare and protection of women to include the children.
