The thirty three members of the Jagna Liga nga Barangay along with their respective secretaries attended the one-day orientation seminar on Barangay Civil Registration System (BCRS) at the Capt. Gregorio Ceseñas on Thursday. The activity was spearheaded by the Local Government Unit of Jagna through the Civil Registrar’s Office in coordination with the Bohol National Statistics Office.

Officers and members of the Provincial Small & Medium Enterprise Development Council (P-SMED) hold its first out of town meeting at the Capt. Gregorio “Goyo” Caseñas Hall in Jagna on Wednesday. The Council which is composed of different government and non- government agencies is chaired by Ms. Marietta Gasatan (center) of the Bohol Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI).

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Jagna is currently updating its Poverty Database Monitoring System (PDMS) by means of the additional verifiable poverty indicators and mapping of community assets using the ABCD software. The said activity is in pursuant to the Provincial Development Council (PDC) Execom Resolution No. 55-2008 urging all local government units to update respective PDMS to include respected mandated plans.
