The event was started with a Holy Mass at the St. Michael the Archangel Parish followed by the rite of blessing of the Stimulation and Therapeutic and Activity Center (STAC) here. A motorcade was held around the major streets of Jagna.
The Office of the Municipal Health Officer (MHO) headed by Dr. Arnold Cagulada and Municipal in-charge of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and staff joined tightly their industrious hands to push through the success of the LGU’s program for the differently –abled.
During the short program at the Jagna gymnasium, Jagna PWD President Howard Sedavia delivered his welcome address.
Sangguniang Bayan Committee Chairman on Health and Social Services Hon. Senen Lloren recognized the importance of disability prevention and rehabilitation task force campaign.
Mayor Exuperio Lloren gave his sound cooperation by extending a substantial moral and financial assistance to enhance the most humanitarian work of helping these people.
The provincial office of the Persons with disabilities headed by Mr. Mateo Quilas and the officers of the Breaking Barriers for Children (BBC) coordinated in the celebration. (Gregorio A. Tavera)
