 Department of Agriculture (DA) Secretary Arthur Yap (center) together with Mayor Exuperio Lloren (right) use the brick trowel symbolizing the formal start of the construction of the P 4 million worth of the Alejawan Communal Irrigation System and Improvement Project on March 22, 2009.The said project is funded by the DA through the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) in coordination with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Jagna. It hopes to benefit the Alejawan Irrigators’ Association since it can irrigate 20 hectares more of farmlands in the area according to the approximation of the NIA. With Sec.
