For the Municipality of Jagna to be able to mainstream gender concerns and the economic empowerment of women in its policies, program and budget and development mechanisms, Mayor Exuperio Lloren (sitting at the center) leads the participants to the 3-day Integration of Gender & Women Economic Empowerment (WEE) to the revised Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) of Jagna and Enhancement of Gender & Development (GAD) Code Seminar- The 3-day activity with 25 participants from the local government, non-government organizations and the private sector reviewed the situation of men and women of Jagna, assessed existing policies of women and gender concerns as indicated in the GAD Code, Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) and the revised CLUP, the Executive - Legislative Agenda (ELA) and the Annual Investment Plan (AIP). They likewise identified action points and key result areas which will be deliberated upon in the upcoming to-do list.
