CLUSTER MUNICIPAL LEGISLATORS CONDUCT JOINT SESSION IN JAGNA |

Sangguniang Bayan members of the Cluster Municipalities of Guindulman, Duero, Jagna and Garcia-Hernandez conducted a formal joint session at the Capt. Gregorio Caseñas Hall on October 7.
The joint session presided over by the 4 Cluster Municipal Vice Mayors was called for to authorize each of the four Sangguniang Bayan to create an ordinance supporting the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the Cluster Municipalities and the Municipality of Blackfalds, Alberta, Canada.
The partnership is within the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) Municipal Partnership Program (MPP) which started in February this year.
The said MOA will formally seal the partnership and pro-actively sustain the farm to market road projects of each cluster LGUs as identified during the Technical Mission last month.
The joint session likewise resolved the creation of a Management Board to be composed of the four Municipal Mayors, Vice Mayors, Sangguniang Bayan Committee Chairman on Appropriation, two Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) together with the respective Municipal Planning and Development Officers.
The Board is tasked to polish and refine the stipulations in the MOA in a way agreeable to both parties before the formal signing takes place.
The said session was attended by Provincial Attorney Handel Lagunay who served as the legal consultant upon the invitation of the cluster municipalities.
