111th INDEPENDENCE DAY IN JAGNA: The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Jagna celebrated the 111th Independence Day Anniversary on June 12, 2009 over simple but momentous celebration. National and LGU Offices led by the Elected Officials offered flowers to the portrait of Capt. Gregorio “Goyo” Caseñas, Jagna’s local hero who fought against the Americans but eventually died due to a friend’s deceitfulness on an Easter Sunday of 1901 in barangay Lonoy of this town.
